Janet King is the Director of Queensland Energy Museum and responsible for establishing Memories of Energy Groups (MEGs) and Memories of Energy Trails (METs) throughout Queensland.
Janet King is the Director of Queensland Energy Museum and responsible for establishing Memories of Energy Groups (MEGs) and Memories of Energy Trails (METs) throughout Queensland. Janet also has her own museum consultancy, Topaz Museum Consultants. Prior to migration from Wales in 1996, Janet was a full-time University of Wales History and European Studies lecturer.

Author of three books, organised 14 exhibitions and website on Queensland's energy history
Numerous articles published in Australia and in UK on social, industrial and women's history
Currently undertaking research for two publications, the introduction of electricity in rural and outback Queensland, and the work of a late Brisbane photographer
