Barbara Webster undertakes historical research and writing about people,
places, organisations, institutions, events and environments. Her
particular interest is Central Queensland history.
Helen has over thirty years’ experience in researching and writing Queensland history, and over twenty years’ experience in heritage research and assessment. From 1991 to 2010 she was employed in the Queensland Government’s Heritage Branch as an historian specialising in heritage assessments, and is the editor and principal author of a number of Queensland Heritage Council publications. She has presented numerous papers on history and heritage matters.
Dr Jonathan (Jack) Ford is a professional historian specialising in military history and the history of Brisbane's various suburbs or buildings.
Judith Nissen is a freelance historian with extensive experience in commissioned histories, heritage studies, and museum exhibitions.
